Product Owner – Biometric Technologies

Location: Lund, Sweden

We are currently hiring a Product Owner within Biometric Technologies.

Are you passionate about advanced biometric software and secure identity solutions? In this role, you will own the product direction for a team developing and evolving biometric technology used in systems deployed at global scale.

You will be responsible for prioritizing and shaping the development of cutting‑edge biometric software, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure high performance, accuracy, and robustness across use cases affecting millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the Biometrics roadmap (incl. performance, security, scalability)

• Translate customer and partner needs into clear product requirements

• Lead prioritization across algorithm development, training, and evaluation

• Communicate with external partners and customers

• Ensure delivery of high-performing biometric solutions for demanding use cases (e.g. dry/wet/noisy sensors)

• Drive continuous improvement of biometric performance and robustness

Your profile

• Strong background in machine learning, biometrics, or image processing

• Experience as Product Owner / Tech Lead / Senior Engineer in an R&D environment

• Understanding of algorithm development lifecycle (incl. training, testing, deployment)

• Ability to bridge deep tech and product strategy

• Structured, data-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally

• Able to contribute directly in code (implementation, prototyping, debugging or evaluation)
